Donor Recognition

Our approach to donor recognition is meant to honor generosity while preserving the unity, beauty, and sacred character of the church. Because the church is offered to God as one whole, public recognition will not be tied to individual furnishings or architectural elements. No sacred item will bear a nameplate, engraved dedication, or other public marker of personal association.

This approach is guided by four principles:

  • Unity over hierarchy

  • Permanence over personalization

  • Honor without commodification

  • Recognition without distraction

Donors will be honored on a permanent commemorative wall, listing all contributors alphabetically, so that the generosity of the whole parish is honored as one offering. In this way, generosity may be honored without compromising the theological and aesthetic integrity of the sacred space.

Donors who wish to dedicate their gift in memory of or in honor of a loved one are warmly invited to note this in their submission. A member of the committee will be in touch prior to any printing to confirm the exact wording.
